hmmmm. christmas was pretty nice and romantic to me this year.
on xmas eve, meiliang and i hit the town to get that special someone's present and a mad rush for xmas presents exchange as well as took neoprints and look for my mummy's cookie. in a short span of 4 hours! back and fro. looking for my mom's cookie wasn't easy, she's a vegetarian and i cannot get a cake for her. unless there is an eggless cake out there...
then we went to ferynn's house to have steamboat! and went to bukit batok to see eric's girlfriend and get a log cake as well! and we went back to ferynn's house to eat the lovely cake and exhange presents. i got ferynn's 10bucks famous amos cookies. hohoho! i like!
and i got a silver necklace from junhao and a box of chocolates from kelly! heehee.
on christmas day, chuxiang and i (ok, i will take lesser credit) planned junhao's 1st birthday celebration. me and junhao went together late to meet them in marina. unfotch something sad happened on the way to marina. in the end, we managed to join the rest for alvin and the chipmunks. and we celebrated his birthday and played sparks and cards.
on xmas, if there is no snow, no mistletoe and no party, a movie is a sure light-up.
so i'm back to work today, and i woke up so early and went to school on time today! i'm so proud of myself! only that there is no attendance taking. in any cases, lateness is not going to happen to me anymore, i must not let the blame be pushed around.
and i worked on my 3D all day today!
i got very fed up with making the roof material. and this was what i produced in the end, o glorious photoshop. (this is making the best out of a situation. if the roof tile cannot be my roof tile, it will be my painting piece)
relax, this was "break" i took from today and going to mac to get my lunch.
another hardworking day tomorrow, i'm gonna wake up real early and go to school like an energizer bunny!

hi. i'm a student in interior designing. all i do in class is to dream big dreams and play simliar things like the sims.
is it fun? of course it is. but, long hours often take a bad toll on my back, and i have also put on weight, noticeably on the buttocks.
this is how i spent my day, modelling buildings, tables and chairs.

sluggishly i dragged my body to the table, putting the heavy-weighing lappie (a curse in a blessing --- weight does really matters -.-) onto the table.
a little pile of order papers from barracks and a tiny pen lay on my table, signs of tiredness showing from the dog ears of the notebook. a smiling zhang zhiyi calendar beams at me, inviting me to a new 2008.
and out of the ordinary pile of mess, i saw a strange white envelope resting on the plywood table. par avion air mail. then i wondered if i had ordered anything online that was due recently. nope. i was broke anyway.
curiously i ripped it open. a close-up confused face of a penguin with transparent snowflakes on it. elated, i pulled the string-like assemble card open.
chi suen, you have really really make my day.

my appetite has been horrible. voracious only when stimulated by the likes. the raisin bread was partly due to be at fault. i fell in love with it so much so i ate half a loaf every night. until one day (a few days ago to be exact) this burning sensation came over me. it was known then i should immediately race to the nearest toilet to throw up. i'm just too full lah.
and i'm gonna stop eating macdonalds and french fries. the seaweed shaker fries (which i'm a victim of) has made my hair start to fall again. yikes. no more. no more fast food.

why do i get the feeling like i can't get anything i want nowadays? this feeling is totally eating me up man. pui.
i wish i can accept things like any normal human being would. but then again without disatisfaction design will never survive and exist, because to better the world is what keep designers going, with contentment nothing will continue to grow.

i'm a young 18 year-old woman trying to figure her way in life.
we went to vivo today and caught the golden compass. well, it was a so-so movie, because the plot was too cheem and it was difficult to grasp at first. junhao bought a box of chocolate for me but forgot it. it's the thought that counts :)

the search for the eternal good and beautiful...
i doubt i will find it anyway. what is beautiful? beauty is in the eye of the beholder... as many people had said. in my humble opinion, beauty is like the universal truth, something that everybody is searching, yet nobody can grasp it and it is there. like ghosts perhaps?
like love, which is like a second skin wrapping around everybody, everybody feels it, but nobody can describe it accurately. or at least, nobody can give a "standard" answer.
tattoo, if not done with consideration, can end up like an approval stamp code on a pig's skin or some massive pathetic effort to decorate the body soaked in teen angst. when i was younger, i wanted to tattoo, pierce and do alot of things too. it's better to think it over before tattooing something. if it doesn't turn out well it could very well end up like a scar, only that this scar is a choice.
whenever i look at those precious moments figurines in the store, i always look at the message the figure is portraying. and it's all about love. love is giving, friendship is in the bag, etc.etc.
can love be endless giving? selfless giving?
perhaps it's about balance. carine taught me "give and take". something that is so valuable to me, this phrase takes me way many years into my teenhood. but finding the balance is tricky. i should think it will take me a lifetime to find "balance" and never find it. and nobody has the right "balance". i used to think junhao has it. but no more now. he's only human.
and when one is finding the "balance", one is actually comparing it to something else to be able to conclude it as "balanced". thus, the seek for the universal truth comes in again.

i LOVE my mickeys and minnies! they are possibly one of the few delightful things that makes me smile when i take their photos. today junhao and i caught a pair of xmas mickey and minnie (just for the occasion!) which made me very happy :):):) too bad we don't have the halloween ones. awwww.
the original mickey and minnie that represent me and junhao. haha.
the lovelies we caught today. a whooping 17bucks :( but i love it :)
p/s: to differentiate the gender is simple. minnie always has the long eyelashes. hee.
my all time favourite which i dare not wash it because of the texture.
it's in my bag all the time.

when it comes to catching toys i only like fun fan amuse kind and the mickeys and minnies are like this (not those normal kind). this is the jap minnie i think. so cute hor? i don't like normal ones.
and weiqiang! gave me a pair of these lovelies in rockinghorses today. big and heavy, i wonder he used how much money to catch. oh well. pictures when i bring them home from school! it's funny how it ended up to become mine, he caught it for his girlfriend but his gf doesn't want it. one man's trash is another's treasure. hee.

first things first, HAPPY 2 YEARS with me junhaodear, it seems so long ago that we are tgt. although 1dec was the day you just came back from your night shift, i understand that you are tired and i will not explode like a bomb going off. nope. i'm happy that you brought me out and we had our favourite mr. bean ice blended pearly soy milk. hee.
we went to the concert! together with meiliang, chuxiang, jac, joc, wanqin and her dear, xinyi, eric, zhisen to watch ferynn perform on stage. and i saw chinyee (with her bf! gosh.) and judeejudee and mary and truckloads of people. familiar people. and my "mummy" in school. so happy that i finally saw her after 2 years.
i'm so happy to see judy!!! you are so pretty wearing the black dress and heels! very very pretty. ignore chuxiang's and junhao's comments, i think they were too happy to see you. hee. we all were.
i'm so touched to know that angeline and poh hong knows of my blog, because i haven't mentioned i have one...
