very hot hot hot start of the week.
have been under the sun for the whole week (up till now) and measuring the whole stretch of sections in chinatown. from hotel 81 all the way to hong kong street, on hand and foot. gahh.
got a tan.
not too bad, i like chinatown. at least can eat and walk around. but i spent alot this few days in chinatown. haha. and saw all kinds of weird people.
don't know what to write now :S

hols are coming to end.. in a few hours to be exact.
the students of DID will be transported back into the giant factory studio and slog for the rest of the term. after all the playing, it's worth it. when it comes to working hard and playing hard, no other course can beat ours :)
overnight MJ, tonning, midnight pinic/pyjamas party, midnight cycling, basketball, badminton, movie, beads outing, valentine date for the singles, chalet, BBQ, kayak, karaoke, steamboat, birthdays, east coast west coast sentosa. all these kinds of activities are on-going in 0304 if we are not hard at work.
which, needless to say, be a very sad event at our graduation show at the end of the year.

we went to the TOPSHOP student party yesterday :)
it was fun fun fun. ok lah i cut queue with angie to the front where robin and audrey was already waiting and left the rest at the back. hee. i was just too excited. when they let the shoppers in the feeling was like, you know, the scene at Jurong East mrt station when the red line people rush over to the train bound for Pasir Ris. the hungry ghosts scene. i always feel panicky when i see the crowd over-flowing into the train.
digressing, we went straight to the candy bar and got some cute candies! and i rush over to the shoes rack to look at my gladiator sandals. hahaa. very auntie lah! but i cannot help it, i can't control my turbo speed especially when a SALE is on. so i got it. and went over to the counter to pay for the sandals. and i got a goodie bag :):):)
the goodie bag right, looks exactly like my previous topshop party goodie bag. only that it comes in brown. it's really pretty! oh ya, i remember i bought a pair of shoes from the previous topshop party too. le sigh. anyway, inside the goodie bag they gave me a bag exactly like the one i already have! no fun. i will give it to my sister.
speaking of shoes i am really really very guilty. i will stop buying shoes already because i have every kind of shoes imaginable for any occasion. this short span of 3 weeks i bought 4 pairs of shoes. but it's a good investment because it goes well with anything i have in my wardrobe. i still like my cinderella clear flats best. the one mom bought for me.
then i lent my card to audrey, who wanted the goodie bag too so she bought a purse with it. i enjoy being with robin and audrey, they are very nice people. and they don't PDA in public so i feel very comfortable with them. her goodies in the bag are the same as mine, which i hoped that the print of the bag would be different so we can both change.
then we went to play WII tennis and i keep losing to everyone and hitting people accidentally with the remote. then we stuffed our face with popcorn and went to get a tattoo spray.
i got a cat tattoo spray! it's very cute and ah lian lah so if you see me don't laugh. vans and huishan was totally addicted to it. they got lizards on their hands too so i avoided their hands for the rest of the evening. all the girls got tattoo sprays. but i like bean's tattoo very much, it's on her feet. we saw a guy that had the tatto sprayed to his face. good luck har, i think he don't know the tattoo will last him one week. aaron got a very lame cartoon shark on his, ahemm, biceps.
so that was more or less the end of the topshop party? oh ya we took a picture too.

since last last week, my life has been a hell lot of activites laa.
from the 2 days chalet, i rushed over to take my ferry on the 3rd day of the chalet (which was a sunday i remember). i sat crying all the way to indoo because i don't like it one bit.
cheered up considerably when i saw my mom. it's the best thing out of the trip.
day 1 to 4 was busy as i ate and ate and bought some stuff and continue eating until i felt a dull pain on the 4th day.
ok la i was really stupid, after eating a whole bunch of nonsense i drank the cooling coconut water that my mom picked and gave me. after that i drank green tea. very stupid. then ate a "ramily" hamburger. before ramily exist i remember this store already exist, and ramily copied the store's concept.
anyway i came back, and next day was working straightaway at the it fair for 4 days. it was intensive lah, standing and talking nonstop. but choir practise has trained me to stand for very very long hours and singing non-stop so it was ok lah. just don't like the idea of paying lip service and entertaining people.
then when the it fair finished, the next day was going back to school for the 50+ designing for the 50+ workshop. we have to like, take care of 3 elderly and guide them with designing lah. so we went to chinatown today.
sian lah i have been treating my house like a hotel for the past few weeks lah. but i'm happy now that my whole family is back at home and everything is back to normal more or less. hee.
going to be busy for this whole week, and i haven't finish some stuff at home. my clothes and table are in a mess so i need to tidy up pronto. ahhh. and i haven't meet up with meiliang raina and jac and pay a visit to my "foster parents" lol.
ok complain finish already!
p/s: i'm a brunette now :D:D:D feels different.

today good lah. i tell you when i first saw junjie i very happy lah. SUPER HAPPY I TELL YOU. i never really expect jj to come visit me lehs!
then the second person i saw is junhao dear. sneaking around me. heeheehee. why you never bring your gun and stand beside me! then they will buy from me already what.
the third (and forth) person i saw is yuhui chiachiachia and jianping. very happy to see them lah i tell you! i thought they not coming to the it fair already!! and yuhui bought ram for her lappie and SHE BOUGHT A PRINTER FROM ME. i'm very touched lah.
anyway we hung around and counted our commission till quite late. so i'm cinderella today, i got home at midnight.

when i realised i was short of a printer to get my ten dollars, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF....
today's sales was pretty bad for me anyway. much of it goes towards chatting happily to myself and paying lip service to anyone who walked by the booth. and i missed my timeware sale which was just at level 3.
dark clouds loomed above my head.
over this three days i think i've heard enough Brother jokes and the printers. Things like >>
'Hi are you looking for a printer?'
'Oh I have a brother at home.'
or very strange questions>>
'Your ink cartridges ah, need to put in the fridge or not if you want to keep?'

the best part about the show was meeting familiar faces, people who came down to see me/us the girls. the first day aaron and poh hong came down. don't know why but i felt especially relieved when i saw them. met arthur today too. it was just too bad that i couldn't find immediate time to talk to them. usually i will be yakking away to the customers.
tomorrow last day! weet. hopefully it will be my lucky lucky one.

you always ask me why i don't want to have children, why i can't function with children. maybe a little exercise will explain better the hassle of having children tearing around the house, screaming and running and running.
1) Buy a giant box of lego.
2) Ask your friend to spread them all over the floor of your flat.
3) Stimulate the middle of the night by putting on a blindfold
4) Walk to your toilet or kitchen.
5) When you step on a lego, DO NOT scream because this will wake your child up at night.
i can imagine ferynn doing this and rolling down the narrow stairs before she even start. lol. looking at my cousin taking care of baby jackie, i can understand the pains of being a mother. the sacrifices they make, the fun they have to give up, the sleepless night that they go through.
at this age, it's really hard to think about it. don't even think about being a young mum.

not a bad trip, i got to see all my relatives and my nephews and niece. very cute laa. ryan looks like me when i was young. he's cute laa, very very smiley. kind of reminds me of jonathan the lecturer come to think of it.

today is a busy day for miss yip!
i'm very composed now when it comes to messy situations. hahaa. it's called experience.
day as follows:
1. training at beach road for the it show next week
2. meet junhao and go chalet
3. or go facial first. excited hahaa.
4. still need to arrive at chalet and we socialize. it's time to meet junhao's parents!
5. night movie i guess.
ok lah come to think of it. not really many things. but on a weekly basis something like this will crop up. so have to multi-task! in this society multi-task is a survival tool. everyone knows how to multi-task.
anyway it's chalet for the next 3 days. so i'm pretty excited. looking towards some kind of a workout during the trip. some extreme cycling, maybe running or something. junhao doesn't know what he's in for. :D
busy holidays! maybe i'll be fished off to indoo for a holiday. till next thursday which is the it show. but by then raina's birthday is on the friday. so i think i have to come out with something laa. and after the it show will be off to school for a workshop for one intensive week. woot. then school starts.
and at this point of time i really miss meiliang. meiliang meiliang meiliang.

my recent love. it's a very quiet song, very good for reflecting at night and unwinding after a hard day. i can picture the "space" of this song. a person sitting alone in a bare concrete space with perforated tadao-ando style concrete walls and minimal full-height glass walls. it will be a basement space, and water features outside. the sound of the water splashing on the floor.. ahhhh lovely.

ok this 2 days... i have been out with my dearest junhao (aka his majesty) on a hot hot hot hot hot date. hahaa.
yesterday we went to VIVO and shop around and we caught sex and the city. (sex and the city? sex in the city?) got difference lehs the first one more famous and gets more coverage. the latter belongs to the yang tze cinema category. "midnight nurse". "basic intincts III". "XXX-file". WAHAHHAA. entertaining. i get a kick out of looking at the posters everytime i walk by.
i digressed.
anyways, we went to pedder red (my new favorite) to get my KEDS. woot. high ah. i love it i love it. this GSS is eating me poor. and making me the shoe lady. i have many pairs of shoes now! woot.
today i wore my uber-new KEDS out. and a tai tai compliment me la. happy. she ask me where i got it because she has been looking up and down for it. :D
my problem is, i can get a good pair of shoes for anyone, but i can't fit new clothes into my wardrobe. style problem.
getting personal uh. anyway, today i went with my lovelies for a job interview for the IT show. so if any of you guys wanna buy a BROTHER printer, just find me lah hor. lol.
after that met up with HIS BIG MAJESTY :D and we went to marina to walk around. saw more shoes and walk out quickly to stop my itchy hands from digging for my wallet. bought an ice cream for the big boy to eat. then we went to makan sutra and had a king feast! makan sutra is a big problem for us, we always cannot finish the food. tsktsk. and the music looming over from DXO was very very good. great atmosphere. then we caught a bus home and happy ending lah.
and and and, i realise that many people had cursed us from the start we got together. does it matter? no! because we are still happy together :) and it doesn't matter because the relationship is about US and not THOSE *(*&^%&%.
and both of us acknowledge that we never went to any secondary school. so next time anyone ask us about westwood, we will go "HUH? what school is that?" in their face. heehee. it makes both of us happy.
so right now my house very peaceful la. i miss my mum loads.
