my 'prom' entry was way overdue, just like my 'time of the month'.
anyway, here is one of my happy prom photos, with some of the gals.
in a curious way untold, everyone was dressed in a different genre (theme was 'fashion capital'), so nobody could really pin point who was really best dressed. my vote goes out to everyone, who went all the way to make a difference that night.

went to jeff's 21st last night. happy birthday jeff!
well, it was a pyjamas party, and then i was one of the few people who came unattired. haha. my bad i didn't realise.. and then the painful part was when the rowdy boys repeatedly shoved balloons into his shorts and burst it. poor thing.
i saw the most unexpected person in the party. meiliang you will never guess!
didn't manage to join raina and friends for drinking in the end. oh well. i feel really bad about it.

instead of attending huiyu's birthday party, i had to attend this workshop that meiliang, raina and me signed up for a week ago. apart from being late (half an hour), everything was nice and smooth. it's really nice to catch up with the both of them.
and it's comforting to know that pretty girls have their body flaws too. right meiliang? haha.
the few days spent at the jacuzzi taught me that too. so now, i'm not so unhappy about MY body issues anymore. because most girls have their own body issues! big or small. hahaha.
and i went home to BBQ. that's right, i took out my mother's charcoal pot to BBQ my satays. well, actually, technically not mine, it was the raw left overs in packs from JP's 21st birthday. BBQ-ing alone is pretty fun actually, you don't have to serve anyone else and the whole space is yours. while waiting i ventured into one of the sex and the city books. not so great as it turn out (the book, not the food). but nonetheless, i started packing up at 2.30 am and went to bed at 6.
because it was impromtu, i didn't had a grill to put the food on. i took my mom's metal plate filter and place it neatly on top of the hot pot. everything was fine, until when i start to scrap off the oily black bits from "grill". nah, didn't came off.
now i know why people always throw the grill away. mother, i won't do this again.
she threw her precious metal plate away. i'm guilt striken. but at least i got to BBQ 24 sticks. i ate about 20.
Pingping's 21st birthday
JP's party was.. a party pooper. A certain man had got him drunk before midnight, and by then we had to 'dismantle' the birthday boy and put him to sleep. so the rest of the night was spent without the birthday boy. we played with the birthday boy's newly acquired WII, and it was quite fun. apart from a certain mr ong who kept hogging the WII remote. and we played bowling.
i have no fate with bowling!
and there was a game of truth or dare going on downstairs. a mixture of JP's secondary school friends and DID pandas. ahemm. there is something important to be learnt when playing the game.
do not play if you have things you are not comfortable with telling. for guys, don't play if you are wearing loose or ugly underwear. the girls genuinely don't like to see the goodie in the bag. hahaha!
so i waited for the birthday boy to wake up and i helped him with cleaning up (the chalet, not him). boy, there are so many things to be cleared! and washed. right now i'm having flaky hands because of the detergent.
i would like to think it's a gift (for having flaky hands after using detergent), because if i have a husband next time he would have to do all the washing and not me. unless he has flaky hands too.

went flyer a few days back, amid a series of lucky events.
my daddy came along! he was more excited than me. so aaron, aaron's family, phong, yuhui, daddy and me got onto the cabin, among a crowd of gappling tourists. the 4 of us headed straight for the seats.
well. it was boringly nice. the highlight of the flyer was the top top top. and the model of the city when we were reaching the bottom. if we all have a lot of money and the right equipments, we will be making very nice models!
i don't feel like blogging anymore, somebody just cut off my energy a moment ago.
