i WILL NOT suffer at work.
grrr.
had one of those confusing first meeting for my new project at orchard road... and it was, confusing.
anyway, i'm super excited about my first big project, which MOE ppl are going to move in in a few days time. have been working my guts out for this one for quite some time now.
a year ago i would have never been able to imagine this, that the things i do will be built one day and people are going to be affected by it. a year ago i would have never been able to imagine talking to real clients and doing the project all by myself and making sure everything is done properly.
it is a lot of work. it is endless hours of meeting. i often had meetings that would stretch from 3pm to 9pm and i would have gastric. i often had to make quick decisions to make assurance that the design can be built and it can be done.
sometimes the responsibility is too heavy for me. sometimes i wish i was just a student and i didn't have to comply with any authorities to get my design built.
and sometimes i have to imagine myself caught in a fire and looking for the exit sign just so i know where to place it.
it is just the beginning. i'm uber excited about the archifest09!
