when i thought of the case of paris hilton, the more it brings out the fury fuming within me. in case you haven't heard, the tragedy of paris hilton goes like this: (in a nutshell of course)

last year she was caught drink driving and thus was issued with a probation of x months. she was caught again recently driving; drunk again and hence sentence to court for hearing.

she was awarded 45days of jail in a LA jailhouse.

for good behaviour, she was sentenced to only 23 days in jail. (her good behaviour, alas, consists of carrying books in her arm around and not partying as frequently in comparison to the past.)

wtf???

so she went to jail, a few days earlier than expected, catching paparazzi off-guard. in jail, she removed her make-up and contact lens (so she is hazel-eyed after all) and her inmates told her that she looked way better sans makeup. (lol)

on the third day, she confessed she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and was sent home - to be house jailed for the rest of the sentence. mind you, she can even hold a party (she being in her house anything can be done). like wtf?

so, this is how they treat celebrities. talk about celebrity justice.
