As the sophomore year draws closer to an end, i can't help but feel a tinge of reluctance to leave everything behind. What will our final year together be like? Will we be good friends forever? Can everyone pursue their own happiness in their career path? So many questions, yet to answer.

My sophomore year was pretty sweet, i got to know everyone more and am good friends with most of my classmates. And made new closer friends. While my studies have taken a toll for the bad, my impression of the school's system and lecturers have changed. As it may have been possibly corrupted, i seek to venture my own perspective of design instead of listening to the lecturers like a lamb. Mix in a good ear and flair, set to go. Sweet ambitions =)

As the workload in my company gets heavier, my stress level goes up. But today, my boss asked me to take my work laptop and head to funan for a ram boost. I found myself in a mad rush packing my bag and putting away the things, all while instructing vans how to complete the perspective. Good ol' van helped me to finish the work which has been bugging me for days. Alas, it is still unfinished due to some angle issues.

Digressing. I reach funan fairly quickly and went to the camera shop. My mentor and colleague, Janet, and June (da big boss) was trying out some cool camera with big lens. I sat down with them to look at the very expensive camera that i know i will never have a chance to hold, at least for now. Impressive. Photography, being such an expensive hobby, is thankfully made cheap by Photoshop and Image programmes. Learnt an invaluable lesson (for free!) from the seller who was trying to lure my boss for more money. Perspectives, lens filters, colouring.

Photoshop may be an omnipotent tool, but the feel is probably one of the fundamentals. Standing beside June while she gushed over the colours and the filters remind me of a small kid buying candy. Only that this small kid havve wads of money -.- She can feel. I felt it beside her. The small details in the photograph, it all adds up to a wonderful picture. She may be a very difficult person to work with, but i certainly appreciate her keen taste for the finer details.

She took out an envelope, with 5000 cool bucks in the form of $50 capitaland vouchers, to pay for the 2k camera after some haggering (did i spelt it right?). She said it is no fun to leave with some bargaining. Sigh. I admit i was stunned by the vouchers.

So we spent almost an hour in the shop, and went to the other shop to get my ram, which the shop just carefully closed in my face. The salesman who was pulling the shutters looked away carefully when i waved at him. So there goes my ram....

Which means i have to spend my own time to get it, out of work hours. Sian. What an abrupt end to this entry...
