a visit from the past.

i had my own "christmas carol" this week. well, not exactly. but 3 characters from my past visited me. fo' real. if this is not nostalgia, then i don't know what is.

i was surprised to find myself talking to my primary school friend. it's been 7 years. and i still remember everything about him. and he's in SP. surprise surprise. and he still remember everything about me. hahaha.

it's kind of like a fast forward in life, when we are still the same, we still live in the same area, and everything about us is still the same, just that the essence of time is different.

then me and meiliang saw eng chua. eng chua, the naughty boy who always talk back in class and cry after a fight. hahaha. well, like wenbin, he looks the same, just a bit different. funny how a moustache, a hair dye, braces and a whole lotta stuff can change people.

well, the big surprise? when i just got home. my uncle and my cousin, sitting in the living room. it's been years. we used to be so close. my fat cousin, whom i used to teased about a love letter that he wrote to the girl in high school. he has grown fatter. and this big dragon stretch over his shoulder.

my uncle still looks the same. only that he has aged. i still remember my dad bringing me to find him in the port. and i looked at all the fishes around me..

the bigger surprise? we are finding names for my cousin's baby boy now. we have all grown up. i still can't believe it.
