as i grow older,

i learnt that beauty is much bigger than what my preconception of beauty was. to me, human beauty is simply appreciating a certain pleasing unique feature that every person has, be it a mole a sharp nose or full lips. you don't have to be model thin, you don't have to have a barbie doll face, you don't have to heaps of muscles popping everywhere (although that happens, i'll explain why later on). you just need to have something that you yourself is appreciative of.

many times he has always tell me that i like everything i see. it's like asking me why half of the cup is filled/full. i'm just appreciative of the smaller details. but being appreciative does not mean i'm obesessed with it... it just means that in the light of that moment i saw something that i did not notice and i realise and acknowledge the beauty of it.

back to muscles. being generically prettier gets you more glance from strangers on the street, but if only everyone will start finding beauty in each and everyone around them, maybe being happy would be easier now. having observed tons of models now, some models do have that certain feature that made them stand out; and on the street, not many would be so appreciative of it. upon learning that they are a model, most people go "oh so beautiful" like the hypocrites they are.

wouldn't the world be boring if everyone looks pretty much like barbie and ken?
